WiP Wednesday ♥ 1

I've been meaning to link up to WiP Wednesday for the longest time, I finally am! Yayy! I kept shying away because I kept feeling the need to document all of my current works in progress, or to focus on my cross stitch (since I haven't posted about that yet here, and I have quite a bit of wip's on my frames). Well, instead, here's a quick post on what I'm in the middle of right now ♥

I'm working on Posy again! I love how this quilt is turning out, even its imperfections and mismatched seams. It feels so comfortable and honest, if that makes sense. I added a one inch wide pink border, and a three inch wide border of Bouquet, my favorite print in this line. Half the time when I say "I love Posy", what I'm really saying is, "I love Bouquet in white". Seriously, I think this print is the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen! I can't get enough of it, and I love having it be the frame of my quilt ♥

Next step - piecing a backing. Then...making some tough decisions about quilting! I'm using this pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew, how would you quilt this? I can only do straight line quilting right now, my machine isn't equipped for free motion yet (and neither am I!!). I'm struggling on where to put my lines to make sure I'm not taking over the prints or anything...plus, I can't decide what color thread. White? Pink? Most of the back will be the light pink of the inner border. Arghh, decisions!!

Oh, and just one more thing - I'm starting embroidery again, after a very brief start and a long hiatus. I made a little glasses case that I will be posting about a little more in depth later, but I wanted to share this picture:

Isn't he just precious?? I got this book from the library and took a few of the designs and put them together. It might be one of my favorite things I've done to date! It's just too cute ♥

Btw, I'm really active on Instagram, and post a lot of my WiPs there - if you'd like to follow me, please do! I love having friends on IG, it helps me stay feeling creative and inspired when I'm seeing what other people are working on c:
